The Account Executive pursues and closes new business for InSync’s solutions using technical, market/industry, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence prospects. This position requires the use of phone sales as a means of selling InSync’s solutions and services.
Generating interest in our products and services through outbound cold calls and email communication
Developing and maintaining a pipeline of new business through consistent execution of contacts, scheduling and conducting demonstrations and working through proposals to close sales
Assisting with the development of sales strategies which maximize existing relationships and identifies new opportunities
Promoting targeted sales programs and initiatives, featuring specific solutions and/or third-party products, to drive incremental revenues
Negotiating with clients on a variety of financial and delivery-related issues
Maintaining periodic communication with customers post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and develop a shortlist of Client Ambassadors and Reference Accounts
Working closely with Product Managers and Developers to provide market feedback and influence future products and software development
Working closely with the Implementation & Training team to ensure a positive customer handoff post-sale
Providing timely and accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
Scheduling initial demos to drive new software sales opportunities
Keeping all account and prospect information timely and up to date in InSync’s CRM system for prospect/client/sales tracking purposes
Keeping up to date on industry knowledge and trends in both healthcare and technology, including regulatory requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years experience selling EMR/PM software over the telephone with a proven track record of closing business valued at $10K or more
Broad knowledge of and an interest in current physician office business challenges, products, and sales practices
General knowledge of computing platforms and application delivery models, including server-based and web services/SaaS delivery
Familiarity with both License Purchase and Subscription licensing and sales models
Self-motivated and able to work productively and effectively with little or no direct supervision
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
