Keeping up with constantly changing industry standards and innovations is a challenging task for behavioral health practices today. This is especially true of providers’ electronic health and medical record software (EHR), which requires frequent updates to remain current.
At InSync by Qualifacts, we deliver a consistent cycle of new and improved features that keep practices compliant and providers efficient. Here’s an overview of October 2022’s updates.
October 2022 Updates to InSync’s EHR Software
Featuring the latest in EMR-EHR and practice management (PM) software technology, here are the highlights of this release.
Set the time zone based on facility locations and their patient’s locations, even if they’re on the move. When the patient portal user and facility are in different geographic areas, the system will display the time-related data, for scheduling appointments, chronicling encounters, and patient portal user time recording. This feature also adapts to server locations globally.
The Admit to Bed feature enables staff to book a bed for patients and enroll them in specific programs conveniently at the same time, and on a single screen. Once a patient is admitted to a bed, the facility can choose to transfer them to a program or discharge them – all from the same screen.
Capture details in the ASAM Continuum as a charting element. Once enabled in ASAM, assessments can be completed in two forms: ASAM Triage and ASAM Comprehensive. When the details are captured in the assessments within the encounter, they will appear on the Encounter Note. When they’re saved in the encounter, they are also saved in the Document Manager.
Automatically post payments for downloaded ERA files during offline hours. Send To Do’s to users when payment postings are completed. The Auto Post ERA workflow shows the files that have been processed, located on the Queued Up panel of the Electronic Remittance screen.
Split ERA files having more than 500 line-items (SVC) segments when uploading and downloading them on the Electronics Remittance screen.
Display the Default Due Date on the Patient Statement, with automated configuration from the desired number of days from the statement printing date. When printing or transmitting the statement, the calculation for the default due date will be done based on the statement’s printing date and the designated number of days until default.
The benefits of an EHR system are that they supply what manual or multiple-disparate software environments lack. InSync’s a cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant, encrypted platform to manage your practice and your patients.
InSync’s rapid-release version cycle means we routinely add new features and functionalities to our system. The result is an environment that scales both with healthcare regulations and with your organization and patient care as you grow.
Seeing the system in action is the best way to understand its value as a cost-saver and payment generator. Schedule a customized demo today to see all the features that fit your specific workflow needs.
