Meet the InSync Team: Implementation & Training Specialist, Ashley Locke
Headed by the Director of Operations, Melissa Allen, the InSync Implementation & Training department has over 30+ years of combined experience. Our Implementation team works to provide our clients with concierge-level services from start to finish. They work both remotely and onsite to help clients identify their specific requirements, which then allows them to tailor our adaptable software to meet their needs. Once specific workflows have been identified, an on-site visit is performed for hands-on training.
Our team prides itself on aiding clients through every step of the implementation process, including answering questions post-go-live. The team consists of a wide variety of industry experts, ranging from nurses to billers to case managers.
One such member is Ashley Locke, who serves as one of InSync’s Implementation & Training Specialists.
How long have you been a part of InSync?
“I’ve been with InSync for almost a year and a half. I previously worked at another medical organization in their Implementation department for seven years. After that, I spent 2 years working in veterinary hospice as an implementation specialist.”
Describe your role and day to day activities.
“I serve as an Implementation & Training Specialist. My primary responsibility is guiding practices through transitioning from their previous system or paper charts to InSync’s EMR or PM software. I interact with our clients through mostly online pre-trainings to prep for final onsite implementation, which is carried out by another member of our team. Additionally, I spearhead all trainings the occur regarding different add-on services—whether a practice purchases a third-party scanner or rely on EasyPay applications, I make sure they’re using it properly and effectively.”
What’s the best part of working at InSync?
“I’ve really enjoyed getting to learn more about the mental health industry. It’s a very interesting field to work in. It keeps my job challenging and enriching, which encourages growth and overall job satisfaction. “
Name a memorable experience with a client.
“Recently, a client told me “deciding on InSync was the best choice he could have made coming from paper charts.” His practice’s productivity has increased. Switching from paper has made misplaced charts a thing of the past and made accessing important records a breeze. His professional life has been greatly improved, and it’s wonderful to hear that from a client.”

"I have 2 yoga teacher certifications.
I have 3 pit-bulls—Tayler, Bino (Bee-no), and Aurora.
Growing up, I was in a bowling league. My best score was 290!"
